FITZCARROLDO (1982) is open visually lush story of Brian Sweeney Fitzgerald, a dreamer in the Amazon jungle, which are determined in an opera in a small town of corn of Peru, on the banks of the world's largest.

For this purpose, has no objection to the adoption of a substantial capital injection from his girlfriend (Claudia Cardinale), Molly, who runs a brothel. This is the story of a passion for the highest art, is happy to accept sponsorship fromlowest of all the arts.

Fitzgerald is played with great charm and the illusion of Klaus Kinski, German veteran actor, who usually appears as a villain in most of his films. In this film by Werner Herzog is an incurable Caruso supporter of the fun of society should bear the barons of the city of dreaming the impossible dream.

German film (with English subtitles) work if you do not think too much about it. But the problem starts after taking a step back andsome questions.

It 's a film that seems to thrive in a what-if question, and has a shelf life in the hands of Duke. But in the end nothing was resolved. There is no real conclusion Fitzcarroldo obsession. We turn to the wind of options left.

Fitzcarroldo want for the manufacture of rubber for the work he dreamed of funding. Therefore, the action of the main plot to fill the entire film - a moveShips in the jungle by a stretch of Amazon for other areas of their rubber "safest" possible.

In this activity, Herculian hundreds of Indians who do not speak German, to help without asking a cent in return for no apparent reason. In one scene really Fitzcarroldo the same question was asked in a loud voice - "Why Why?" It 'was a moment of unintentional humor, I'm afraid.

This is a poem in free verse in a movie where the logic ofThe story does not say a thorough examination. Most characters do not have sufficient reasons for what they do.

The end is equal to meetings on an ad hoc basis, as had been expected at the beginning of the film. It must have been!

Retrieved from "pure chance" is an opera company simply stood in a corner "in the heart of the Amazon and is more comfortable? So our hero is sent by the captain of his boat with his hands full of paper money for allOpera Group (any type) in the vessels not to his battered ship for the final concert.

At the end Fitzgerraldo what you want, the kind, but we have no idea why the rest of the world to go with it in an objective and subjective and dogmatic about the harsh physical and social reality of the Amazon rainforest.

Great production. Good idea, though. Low dramatic tension and bending of the story.

The rate of 5 out of 10 for effort and KlausRise of Kinski blond pompadour.
