Science fiction and fantasy for young readers - Part Eleven - Character Creation

Image : http://www.flickr.com

In science fiction, fantasy and children's literature, you can identify the main characters, the reader, even if they have an incredible adventure. Similarly, the cast of secondary characters that appear realistic. Perhaps grotesque monsters, mythical animals, aliens with two heads and seven arms, robots or androids, but even if they are not people, they have depth, as a sign that if they play more of a superficial role in history.Well developed in any situation that may seem, is rarely forgotten and still very popular among readers.

Of course, some basic character types are familiar to us as the witch or an evil sorcerer, the reluctant hero, the prince or a princess in exile, the wise counselors, the noble king, the faithful lieutenant, the science adviser to the sick with its wonderful inventions forgotten, and much more. But the inhabitants of the imaginary worldshould not just be carbon copies of these occur frequently in the past. It should not simply try to match the characters and personalities that have had success recently as Harry Potter, for example. A major challenge for science fiction for children and fantasy author, writing for teenagers and adults is to ensure that their characters more than cardboard cutouts of voids and cavities, which in reality come alive for readers.This can definitely be very problematic when the human character that is all. However, it does not seem as real as any other person who has ever created a work of fiction, whether children or adults. You need a personality, aspects that we can identify and sympathize with us, likes and dislikes, gestures, quirks, and so on, all to make them unique as individuals, even when used, not a human.

I will write one of my favorite games RPG classic, Final Fantasy the eighth Keep reading ...

History

The history of the FF is 8 is not like other RPG games such as Chrono Cross and Xenogears complicated. You play as Squall Lion Heart, the leaders of the future soldiers, the mission of a fairy to stop and save the world from destruction a. Unfortunately history is not well developed.

It's All About Love

The love story between Squall and Rhino is very famous,could be the main topic of the eighth FF

FF 8 characters

* Heart Squall Leon

A beautiful boy of 17 years. This is an anti-social person and not care for themselves.

* Rhino Welcome

If Rhino was a real person, who could still the most beautiful girl!

Trep * Quistis

It 's a complicated girl, and it seems that she also loves Squall.

Dincht Cell *

Squall is the best friend. Regrettably, there is an impatient man.

Tilmitt Selphie *

Aexchange of students, who always seems happy. It has a beautiful face and hair funny funny.

Kinnear Irvine *

A cowboy cool cool weapons. But the truth is weaker than it appears.

Gameplay

* Combat system the game is pretty unique. Unlike FF 7, you can not get money after the victory over the monsters, but you can get from their work. The most interesting part of the game, you can call large creatures called Guardian Force (GF). They will help you overcome manyThe monsters and bosses in this game There's so GF FF 8 world, takes hours, if you want to collect all the Guardian Force.

* No armor can be found throughout the game. And you need to upgrade your weapon at regular intervals.

* Each character has a special magic, magic is a factor in this game. But you can fly with the enemy magic.

Delivery System *

Then a little 'magic of your firearm (as firaga add). It is much easier to win the game if you knowhow to control this system.

* The largest employer in the previous series, Ultima Weapon, also appears in this game sure to reach levels of 100, if the fight against this boss.

Graph

Unlike FF FF 7 and 9, the characters appear in FF 8 realistic and very detailed. See also the background of the game so fresh and unique. And the best part is the opening FMV. (Perhaps the market value of more openness PlayStation)

If you have an RPG classic collectors, you must add8 and the following to your list.

The road - the first law - A damn good in a Dark Fantasy

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Joe Abercrombie began his heat with a beginning teacher. "Blade: The first law is a fantasy without conventional heroes. The author creates a sense of realism in a world of magic, a story that could not be repaired by the big production.

In the town of Adwa, sand Glokta give ex-soldier, disfigured and mutilated, tortured after the last war, is now an interrogator and torture to extort confessions by others. Captain Dan Jezal Luthi, a pompous youngEdelmann is a good swordsman, but spent the day drinking and cheating in the game Meanwhile, in northern countries have brutal warrior, boxes Ninefingers lose everything, what to look for travel in a brutal attack in the south, Bayazid powerful magician. The wizard is an old bald man in a bad mood. Could be the first of the Magi, or it could be a scam. But it is hoped that these foreigners. Bubbles, and these people will come together to fight and former political conspiracyEvil.

The story is told from the perspective of different characters and their stories, the author finally meets. Abercrombie takes time and uses it to great advantage to create unique characters. It 'clear that the voices are the focus here. Their dialogue is full of cynicism and humor, intelligent. Your life is full of intrigue, bloody battles and magic. The battle scenes are graphic, so be warned. There's also a bit 'a curse - not a storythe faint of heart.

For several converging stories, themes and conflicts are evident. The introduction of so-called "heroes" of the second book promises an epic adventure. Worth the trip for those who love the stories and characters do not care about his characters weaknesses.
