Jesus of Nazareth (movie review)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

From Thomas Edison's invention of modern cinema, countless filmmakers aspired to a moving picture that accurately recounts the life of the product and the time of Jesus of Nazareth. In addition to Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, the only part of the life and crucifixion of Jesus, Jesus of Nazareth by Franco Zeffirelli Chronicle is the largest of all. Originally a television mini-series (it's more than six hours) word of the release, the film about a wordThe auditors of the Gospels.

The story begins with the reception of Joseph (Yorgo travel) and Maria (Olivia Hussey), the angels of God Each is the child that Mary is what its name says. The scene where Mary receives her message is a particularly strong piece of cinematic art without dialogue - just a warm light surrounding Mary bows in prayer. The film is an expression in the Gospels, said the census of Herod's decree, and travelJoseph and Mary.

As Jesus (Robert Powell) develops into adulthood, we experience the beginning of his ministry. He calls his disciples taught through the use of parables and miracles show a lot. Zeffirelli makes powerful use of the camera with his star, Powell has never called for blinking in every scene. At first, hardly noticeable, and it takes time to know what is so different. But the current lack of uniformity in common creates a divine aura flashCharacter of Jesus takes the audience by creating an emotional sense of peace that Jesus gives credibility to the representation of the screen.

From beginning to end, Jesus of Nazareth offers a plethora of memorable scenes and exchanges that are in the Gospels and the real life of Jesus as a brilliant director and acting. But the issue is adequately described by a great production team and a host of actors and actresses, including treatiesthey are - Mary Magdalene (Anne Bancroft), the Centurion (Ernest Borgnine), Simon Peter (James Farentino), Balthazar (James Earl Jones), Joseph of Arimathea (James Mason), Nicodemus (Laurence Olivier), Caiaphas (Anthony Quinn) and more ... In general, individual efforts to create a rich tapestry of wisdom and intrigue that will leave audiences with plenty to ponder and think about the form.

If you believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah (which the writer)Jesus of Nazareth, then serves as a form of meditation and renewal of spiritual connection with God but if you do not see Jesus in this way no other film that will leave you speechless with the great influence promulgated by a humble, sandal-clan of the a province on the banks of the mighty Rome - an influence that has completely dominated the world for almost 2000 years until today.

For the spiritual, philosophical, and the reasons for the film, Jesus of Nazareth, an importantmust see film for ages ...

U.S. President (Movie Review)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Nominated for an Academy Award for best music, if the President of the United States for most of the Oscars have seen (maybe the best film, although I realize that this is not the great drama of the century). However, the U.S. president is a fun romantic comedy reminiscent of the old Frank Capra film. Although not treated with kid gloves, the president is rather shy and innocent in his relationship with an advocacy group in Washington to create a fascinating contrastwhen the power of his office. Published in 1995, the President of the United States is one of many commercial films for the concentration presidential election, with Dave and Air Force One at the top (liberal Hollywood producers had hoped some of the light favorable to rub on Clinton?) This is debatable. But this is not debatable is that the U.S. president is one of the best romantic comedies of the decade ...

Michael Douglas plays the role of Andrew Shepard, widower and the PresidentUnited States of America. In the political world, Shepard is king - enjoying unprecedented surge in his approval jobs. But the President's private world is empty. The daughter of the president is the closest person in his personal life, not to mention his wife. After a meeting with Washington lobbyist Sydney Ellen Wade Environment (Annette Bening), the minister plans to ask them out. But he takes of consultants MacInerney AJ (Martin Sheen) and Lewis Rothschild (MichaelJ. Fox) on the road, prior to its decision.

When the president had a meeting with Sydney, his presence at the White House leaked to the media, and the popularity of the president (I'm not sure why, because, as the American public to be mad to ban dating widow). The scandal is reinforced by expansion opposition leader Senator Bob Rumson (Richard Dreyfuss) who uses the scandal as a springboard for his campaign to win thePresident. They earn good or evil Rumson take the chair?

The backbone of the American president is not new, and the script itself is far from under control. But what makes this film so successful is how the actors giving life to the dialogue. Michael Douglas as President Andrew Shepard, shows the public because it was a titan of Hollywood. His attitude of the president is a prelude to the West Wing Martin Sheen would be proud, butSydney Ellen Wade and interaction with his daughter (Shawna Waldron) Lucy a human face difficult political character. The other half of the equation, Annette Bening, plays her role perfectly, and transforms the first political nature of Washington lobbying hard for the girl smiling school swept the foot of a big guy (which, incidentally, is is the President) will be.

One of the most interesting aspects of the President of the United States is that the writersAndrew Shepherd is a widower and divorced. Despite the general acceptance of divorce in society today, the film would not work if the president had divorced. Unconsciously, is to implement an 'idea in one part of the public who had a dog. It 'an interesting comment in my opinion. Also noteworthy performance of Michael J. Fox and Martin Sheen (who was then president of the favorite (who played later as a political operator in the television series "Spin City")the television series West Wing). The U.S. president made his major interest for these functions, or already these types of roles? In all cases, the President of the American public joy and entertainment for all age groups, it is clear that we need to see this movie ...

Father of the Bride (movie review)

Image : http://www.flickr.com

A remake of the classic 1950 Spencer Tracy movie, Father of the Bride is Steve Martin at his best. can enjoy a comedy for the whole family, the father of the bride's great fun. As the daughter of George and Nina Banks announced her engagement, Nina is thrilled - George, but is struggling to cope with changes that accompany the life of his daughter grow up to be good. One of the funniest films of Steven Martin is a film that does not want to lose ...

George Banks (SteveMartin) leads a perfect life. Did a great job, a nice house, a beautiful mistress wife Nina (Diane Keaton), and two wonderful children. But George's world is shattered when her daughter, 21 years, Annie (Kimberly Williams) returns home from school and announced that it was committed. The bride's father offers a series of funny scenes like the wedding plans proceed. Annie and take a very feminine male wedding planner Nina Eggelhoffer Franck (Martin Short), whose focus and take charge attitude continuously rub George shocked the wrong direction. DecideMarriage in the family home, are the banks, the daily life like no last minute change and challenges typical of a wedding is imminent. These sequences of comics in the main event responsible for most of the humor and laughter in the film (notably Martin Short). But the marriage goes as planned? George is finally agreed, his eldest daughter? Or, to break her engagement to Bryan? The bride's father is a moving story, a romantic comedyNever forget.

Steve Martin does his usual friendly body language and use of many years of experience in the comics section perfect image of the Father in such a situation are available. Not far above, and very credible in all respects, the bride's father is in sharp contrast to the comedies of today, the way to go to sea in an attempt to corner fun. Outlandish comedies have their place, but sometimes his laughter Nicesuspend without your sense of reality first. The bride's father is doing well in this sense - as the Christmas holidays.

In general, the bride's father is a wonderful happy family comedy. Steve Martin and Diane Keaton are a lovely couple, and the middle-class family provided by the Banks family, which is able to identify most of the spectators. Because of their sense of wellbeing, relaxed humor, the bride's father is a mustmovie ... Do not miss!
