Hour of the Wolf, written in 1989 by Robert R. McCammon is an incredible book! He has been reached on the first page and I finished in record time. He went straight to the top of the list, my mentor. I can not believe all this time to find out. This is not the typical story of a werewolf. The novel is actually two stories in a book. This is an adventure of the Second World War to find Michael Gallatin, a secret agent in the middle to stop the Nazi program. It is also the story ofMikhail Gallatinov and how to become a werewolf. The two men are the same thing, and Michael McCammon interweaves past and present perfectly.

In 1944, Allied intelligence learned something ahead are the ruins of the Allied invasion of Europe. Need more info, and Adam, an official who is in Paris, assisted by the Gestapo. Spy, Michael Gallatin, which seeks to regain custody of Intel. Parachuted into occupied France and contacts AdamTo schedule an appointment. Adam is dead, but Michael escapes. It is expected to swallow a cyanide capsule, but moves into a werewolf and kills the Gestapo. The dangerous mission takes him to Berlin, about half of the Third Reich, has a secret plan by the Nazis as "Iron Fist". Changes in history with the past. E '1918 and Michael Gallintov sees his parents and sister was brutally murdered by a death squad in Russia. The same fate was, but the attackers were killed by wolves. In the chaos, Michael is bitten. But these are no ordinary wolves. Mikail a werewolf and lives with the werewolf clan in a forest in Russia.

This story has brought me great in the mornings with early reading. I particularly appreciated the introduction of Michael in the world of lycanthropy. Nobody has ever done in detail so beautiful and genuine. The characters live and breathe. Michael is the ultimate alpha hero. There are a lot of action and a part of which is graphic and very brutal- The worst is committed by men. McCammon, the representation of Europe and the war please history buffs. Fans will be fascinated by the supernatural transformation of Michael, a werewolf. And who loves the stories of espionage and military personnel to maintain their interest. This is a great movie. I highly recommend it.
