The author has a well developed world have been created with the magical arts and more believable three dimensional characters. Heroes are convincing and sympathetic, and there are many other strange characters, such as the change in shape and doFlat Mountain Trolls. Although Kelly is a student, and is an indication of a budding romance, dialogue and actions that make them look younger. I can only young people I know are very mature for his age. I would have liked to see more of Kelly's mother, because it is an essential element in the plot, but I am assuming that appear in the next book.
